Fall Fun with Fabric

There are so many great craft ideas out there for the fall and holiday season. Some of the things I have been working on making lately are Foundation Paper Piecing, Large Stuffed Pumpkins, Ghost Plushies, Witch Hats, and Trick-or-Treat bags.

I recently acquired a Foundation Paper Piecing book with 100 different projects. The book is set up in themed groups like food, animals, holidays, and vacation. I taught someone how to paper piece on Tuesday night, and she almost finished her first FPP square! It is this adorable beehive.

I think it would be so fun to get a FPP quilting circle together so we can each contribute a section or square to a project and have a quick and adorable make to hang on the walls of City Sewing Room. If you want to learn how to Foundation Paper Piece, send me an email at dorothypino@gmail.com. Let's get a party together!
