About Sew, La, Tea
Empowering people of all ages to find their creative outlet
Dorothy Pino went to college near Los Angeles, and she graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education in 2009 and a Master of Arts in Teaching in 2012. After teaching in public schools for over a decade, she left the classroom in 2022 to pursue her own music career, and to teach sewing, music, and painting classes in small group settings. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with others, as she understands the importance and value of expressing yourself through your art.
She is relocating to Las Vegas October 15, but classes will be held one weekend per month in STL. If you are in Las Vegas and would like to schedule a lesson, please email dorothypino@gmail.com to discuss times during this period of transition.

Dorothy spent her summer breaks going to paint and sip classes when she was teaching full time. She took private lessons as well, and enjoys creating custom paintings for special occasion parties.

Dorothy has been sewing for almost 20 years, and enjoys making dresses, stuffed animals, paper pieced quilts, and costumes! All STL classes are taught at 3026 Cherokee Street.
